This work channels my troubled relationship with traditional matrimony in the 21st century. Centralized around a welded dress form and a translucent wedding gown, I portray a sinister depiction of the “cult of domesticity” and patriarchal womanhood that is both familiar and foreign; comfortable and threatening.
